Beat it with an oar

The shark approaches and thinking quickly you grab an oar and repeatedly bash it on the head and knock out several of it's teeth. It takes a bite out of the boat's wooden hull but lets go when you beat it again. The shark decide's your not worth the trouble and simply swims away. That was close. You lay down on the boat and take a few deep breaths, calming down. Soon the river calms down and your able to land the boat. Stepping off of the boat you see that this is a strange place.

You're in some village surrounded by stone walls. There are reed huts randomly placed here and there and outside the village there are the tallest trees you've ever seen. Before you can stretch at least twenty men and women rush out of their huts and pull out blowguns. You throw up your arms and show that you aren't holding any weapons. An elderly man clothed in raccoon fur and carrying some kind of laser gun arrives and speaks, "Oh, how unfortunate, I don't know why you are here, but now that you are, we can never let you leave." The fat man runs back to the boat but receives five red-feathered darts in his back and he falls over and starts twitching. Your eyes go wide at the sight. "Um, why can't we leave." The elder answers, "We are the lost tribe of Monchat and we prefer to remain lost. If we have fools like you go around telling everyone we're not extinct we'll be hunted down." "We can keep a secret really!", said Amanda looking at the leaves on the ground. "Silence." The elder then made a fish motion with his right arm and the villagers grabbed you and your friends and took you deep into a dark cave. You thought they were going to kill you but they didn't. The tribesmen tied you down and then while you struggled against the ropes they put a heavy collar on your neck and poked a red hot piece of metal into your arm, burning the mark of a hammer into your bicep. When they were done they showed you to your new home, a tiny hole in the ground. Yay. They told you that you would be their slave and work the fields for the rest of your life. At first you did not listen but in time they broke you down with their whips and sharp objects and you learned to obey. It's hard, unrewarding work being their slave. Every night, you go to sleep sore. At least your friends are here to help you through it. Of course they're not here willingly either. The elder tells you that after thirty years of work and with good behavior you'll be a full member of the tribe and you wont be a slave anymore. Well, you have that to look forward to.
