You figure some quick logic in your head. Hm, truck beats soldier. You hop in the truck. Yanking on a few wires and reconnecting them in strange ways you get the truck started. You move it into position and then pick up speed. Some of the soldiers see you coming and leap out of the way but many of them don't react fast enough and they get flattened. The side of the truck gets hit by a rocket. This topples you over and you go skidding into a box filled with explosives. This creates a huge, blinding explosion destroying everything within thirty feet and disentigrating you entirely. When the mushroom cloud dissipates the people in the wallymart can see that almost the entire army is dead or has retreated. They take this chance to escape to safety. Well, your death wasn't in vain.
