If you create a distraction it may draw the soldiers away. You spot a large 18-wheeler. You hotwire it and set a heavy rock on the gas pedal. You then hop away to see the truck smash through several cars before stopping. This distracts the soldiers for a few seconds but then most of them get back to the battle. Actually this made things worse. Some of the soldiers come running in your direction. You run out of the parking lot but you don't get far. You stop when you see a tank coming around the corner. Before you can turn back around it shoots its cannon. when the smoke is cleared all that's left of you is a smoldering crater and a slightly blackened but still functional wrist watch. The soldiers chasing you inhale some air and then say, "Oooooh." They then return to the battle.
