Judy ~ Thanks so much for carrying on the tradition. I really look forward to our family get togethers. It brings back memories of the packed little dinning room at the farm  and all the rook playing. The early years when I just got to watch Jerry L., Jerry C , Dad and Grandpa playing all afternoon and the good old days when Grandpa and I took on all comers. The smells the sounds the conversions, Great memories. Looking forward to more.  ~ Steve

Thanks, Steve ~ I know. This time of year I tend to think back at all the wonderful holidays and meals that we've had together. I think about home -- and Mom and Daddy. Remember when we all hung our stockings on the back of Mom's couch? Or, on a wooden clothes dryer? I get out the Walton Christmas Homecoming movie and watch it over and over -- all the animals and the barn and the big family take me back home. I find myself looking out the window and imagining that the first big snow storm of the year is about to start and I'm waiting to see the first snowflake. I'll be sure to put out the Rook cards for this year, too. I just can't wait to have everybody once again this year. That day and Thanksgiving are two of the best days of the year. ~ Love, Auntie
