All have sinned.
Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Everyone who has ever lived on this earth was born a sinner. Everyone is guilty of sin-no exceptions-ALL have sinned.
We are not able to save ourselves and as sinners we are seperated from Christ and are doomed for eternal damnation. Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death..." Those who die without receiving God's gift of salvation are destined to eternal punishment in hell. But there is good news.
God loved us so much that he sent his one and only Son, Jesus, who come down to earth with the sole purpose of dieing on the cross to pay for our sins so that we may spend eternity in heaven with Him.This salvation is a free gift-offered to all who will accept it. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven. We CANNOT save ourselves and no one else can save us either. Only Christ's sacrifice on the cross can save us from eternal damnation. John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
And the best thing is this free gift is offered to all. The only thing we have to do is accept this gift. All you have to do to be saved is to believe that Jesus came to earth to die for our sins, was raised from the dead, and ask Him to be your Savior. He wants you to belive in him and accept him and he is waiting with his arms open wide for you to join his family. And this gift is eternal. Once you sincerely accept this free gift of salvation, you have been forgiven of all your sins and there is nothing you can ever do that will make you "lose" your salvation. It is eternal. And no one can ever take your salvation away. You are eternally secure in Christ.
