It looks as though Robbie is staying at Elland Road! Earlier this week Leeds agreed to sell Fowler to Manchester City, despite the fact that Fowler didn't want to leave Elland Road. Having agreed personal terms with the Maine Road club and passed a medical, Fowler has amazingly decided to stay at Elland Road, saying, "I just thought that I still had something to do at Leeds. I hadn't had the chance to show the fans there exactly what I can do."
Here's hoping that the poor excuse of a liar we have for a chairman won't try to offload Fowler to another club. Rumours are flying that Fowler has rejected a move to Manchester City because another club (namely Manchester United) has come in with an offer at the last minute). I hope this isn't true, and if it is, Fowler hasn't done a good job of paving the way for a transfer by stating his desire to stay at Leeds. |
