Day 1
Ten strangers are spread in different points in a road in
northern Israel, having to get to a dark room where they will meet, cooperate,
and do their first challenge, before even seeing each other. Each of them enters
the dark room as they arrive. They have 30 minutes to set the furniture in a
certain way in the dark. On the furniture there are notes with their names. They
will all be seated in their spots when the mission is over. They enter the room
one by one, and already we see a difference in their approaches. Sharon
stands still and looks around. She's suspicious. She doesn't answer Eldad
who enters right after her and tries to ask her questions. Zehava and Ruthy
seem to bond r
ight
off. Israel tries to set some strategic system to help putting the
furniture, but Oded seems to have more charisma and everyone listens to
him instead. The first thing Dana does is trying to look for Sigi
in the dark. I don't know why. Maybe because she found Sigi's seat.
Private Israeli says: She remembers "that curly haired woman I saw
on the bus". Ironically, Sigi and Dana are right next to each
other, but they don't know it. Almost everyone is here. But one is missing. They
remember the names from a picture of the room. Private Israeli says: they
remember the name of the guy who's late: Doron. At some point Doron
arrives and joins them. They are done with everything. They put all the
furniture in place, but.......... That's when the little hustles start. Someone
drops the apples on the floor in the dark. They inquisit Guy about it,
asking him repeatedly if he's the one who dropped the apples. After already
saying he didn't, he starts to get annoyed by this stupid question. Guy:
"Yes, I dropped the apples!" They manage to put the apples back
into place. Doron finishes to put them in the bowl and sits down.
Suddenly, Israel notices that his pillow is gone. Eventually they find it
and put it back where it was. But who really dropped the apples? No one admits.
Maybe through the confusion of working in a dark room full of furniture and 9
other people, the person who dropped it didn't notice it. Maybe this person did
feel he/she dropped the apples, but was too ashamed to admit, and maybe... it
was the Mole. Luckily the pillow is found and the apples are put in their place.
The people are seated in their seats. The first challenge is a success! The
money is won!
Itai (the host) meets them in the room and tells them that the furniture will be
with them every two days. Every two days when they'll gather at a certain place
for an execution, the furniture will be set there exactly the way it was the
first time, and they'll all sit in their assigned seats.
Second day
Instead of bungee, which is a common "Mole" mission
around the world, the group has to go snepling. They go to what is known as
"the arched tunnel", and they simply have to hang all the way down to
the ground with the climbing equipment. Only catch is, they hav
e
to be hanged facing down! By the end of the day all ten have to do it. If one
doesn't do it, the mission is a failure. All of the helmets have cameras on
them, so they could film the faces of the contestants as they do the challenge. Ruthy
and Zehava announce that they won't do it. Guy and Oded,
the two young guys in the team, have no trouble doing it. Sigi goes down
and try to enjoy every single moment she's in the air. When Dana goes
down, she's screaming and shouting like crazy all the way down. Doron
goes down, and as he is hanging between heaven and earth he uses the camera to
show pictures of his little twin girls. By the way, Doron claims that the
day before he forgot the pictures in the car, and ran back to get them. That is
the reason that he was late to the dark room that day. Eldad, the oldest
guy of the bunch, is not too happy about going down, but he does what he has to
do. Ruthy, who refused to go down, is next in the upside-down snepling.
she is thrilled when she's done with it, a
nd
has a true sense of accomplishment. She shouts up at Zehava, telling her
she has to try it. Zehava, the conservative person in the bunch, accepts
the verdict and starts to go down. She slowly learns to enjoy that terrifying
event. And it is terrifying, but there is a sense of accomplishment for all of
them. It's not over yet, though, because they notice Sharon has disappeared.
They find out right at the nick of time when she returns. No one knows where she
went. She seems edgy, and is terrified of being hanged in the air upside-down.
Nevertheless, just like the rest, she goes down, making the original team a
winner in their second and final challenge as the original team.
They won all of their missions so far. Friendships were made in these past two
days. Zehava and Ruthy hit it off. Dana gets along with Guy,
because they are both young, and therefore come from the same world. Guy
and Israel get to chat a little bit and become friends. Zehava
hates Doron's guts.
Suspicious
Doron is late to the first mission.
Someone drops the apples. Ruthy thinks it's Guy.
Someone took Israel's pillow.
Israel told Ruthy and Zehava that they didn't have to jump
if they didn't want to.
Sharon disappears when she is needed. When she shows up finally, and goes
down the cliff, she mumbles: "I'm the mole, I'm not the mole. Maybe I am
the mole."
Execution
Now they all have to fill in a multiple choice test with questions about the
identity of the mole. They all sit in a room with the furniture. Itai starts the
execution. Press on the pictures of the contestants to find out who will be the
first one to leave:
