Episode 5
The first female had to leave. But who will be next?
Day 9
A red flag is planted on top of a hill. At least one of the
contestants has to reach it within 30 minutes. If they all reach the flag, they
win $10.000. But if only one person makes it to the flag, he/she earns an
exemption (free pass to the next episode) AND they still have the money. There
are snipers in helicopters shooting on them, though. And the contestants can
shoot each other too, to get to the flag alone. The team works together, but
only Alan manages to reach the flag. He had his gun raised to shoot Abby,
but didn't have to shoot eventually. So $10.000 to the kitty and an
exemption for Alan.
For the next challenge, they have to divide themselves into two
groups of three. Each group has to solve riddles within 45 minutes. Every time
they give a false answer, five minutes will be substracted of the total amount
of time. The groups are:
1) Alan, Beverley, Jan
2) Abby, Ben, Linda
The first team manages to solve the riddles without many problems. But the
second team spends more time laughing than concentrating. They can only solve
one riddle. The challenge fails and Abby laughs about it.
Day 10
The contestants get three cameras. Abby
and Linda are sent to Ocean Beach. Beverley and Alan go to
the forest and Ben and Jan are out to sea. They have all day to
search for Tasmanian native animals. Each group has to submit 4 photos to a
wildlife expert. If six of the pictures are correct, they win $10.000. Abby
makes a lovely picture... but she forgets the lens cap is still on her camera. Ben
and Jan are the only group to have captured any Australian Species. And
they only had three. There also was some mix up with the numbers of the pictures
with Beverley and Alan.
Suspicious
Alan had his gun raised to shoot at Abby.
Linda, Ben and Abby can't solve
the riddles. They lose a lot of time.
Abby laughs when she hears the riddles challenge has failed.
Abby takes a picture with the lens cap on the camera.
There was a mix up with Beverley and Alan's picture numbers.
Execution
Last episode, the first woman got eliminated. Will it be a woman again?
