There are a lot of things to see and do in the neighborhood where I live. Unless
you need a 7-Eleven or a Pizza Hut. No fast food but the neighbors are rowdy.
One of the big things to do around here is get someone to drop you off about 20 miles
up-stream on a tire tube. It takes you about 10 hours to float back. Here is
our neighbors and us enjoying a nice summer day swimming in the Pembina River. I
suspect the neighbors started washing clothes after we left.
When driving around the country side, I like to keep a camera ready because I seem to
find really nice out of the way places when I need to stop to take a squirt. Here is
a quiet spot along Christmas Creek.
Here is the Pembina River in the fall when all the trees are in beautiful color.
The best time of year because there are no bugs.
Our neighbor Alex is swathing his crop using equipment almost as old as he is. I
can say anything I want about Alex here because I'll put my cat up to bet he hasn't got
access to the Internet anyway.
One great benefit we get from living in our neighborhood is that we get to know all the
people who have private riverside party areas complete with secret gated access.
Here we are roasting hotdogs with some neighbors at a private river side paradise not
available to the public..
Stinky-kid points aimlessly as the wife looks on. I told them to pretend they
were looking at something so this doesn't look like a posed "tourist picture"
like the one you see in Cartman's livingroom. This is high overlooking Whitecourt.
