I used to be an avid shell-collector, but this seems to have taken a bit of a back seat lately. The main interest was photography of live shells - click the 2 links below for some samples...

This is an interesting case of apparent mimicry: The (edible) shell Trivia millardi has the same colouring and pattern as the (inedible/ foul-tasting!) nudibranch on the right,  maybe deriving some protection in this way.
