"Britain grinds to a halt" read the newspaper headlines... we almost didn't make it back to London because the petrol blockade emptied all the pumps- but we squeaked through in the end, although it added unwanted tension and worry to the end of the holiday |

A bonus of the trip was being able to see Bianca and Scott for 2 days in London, where they are working and saving pounds... |
