| Total Solar Eclipse: Dec 4 2002: Kruger National Park A long-planned event that involved hiring a camper-van in Johannesburg, and a measure of good luck with the clouds. The weather nearly won the day, but we saw enough to make the memories absolutely unforgettable. This is a natural event without parallel, and was for me an emotional, almost primal experience. The few pictures do it no justice- suffice to say that I will be in north africa in 2006! |
