Lionheart
Sadly, I can't comment on this game too much. It sadly came out the same day as Knights of the Old Republic for the Xbox, and as such has seen little play, as I've been almost constantly distracted by other things since I bought it.
I did play the demo, and liked it, hence buying the full game, but I would probably have got it anyway. I'm a big fan of the old Fallout series, which this game closely resembles, as well as Arcanum.

Story is, in the Third Crusade, Richard the Lionheart was tricked into executing all his prisoners. This event acted as the mass sacrifice to release demons into the world. It is not the Renaissance, and magic has been a part of the world since Richard's time. You play a descendent of Richard, symbiotically linked to a magical spirit that fused itself to Richard's bloodline. And you have a prophecy to fulfill.

As I said, I've not played this as much as it deserves, which I will rectify at some point. Just not now. It will probably now wait until a period when the new games coming out don't really interest me enough, and I start my occasional 'nostalgia' gameplay. I'll comment on it better then (Looks like it may be later this month. Nothing really catches my attention in the new releases coming up, though it may have to wait until after Temple of Elemental Evil.)
