Czechoslovak Brigade in the Soviet Union of General Ludv�k Svoboda) against Nazi
occupation since he was saved by the Red Army out of a Nazi death camp near
river Dnjestr in Transnistria (Romanian-Soviet border area). Transnistria was
the main place of the Nazi-annihilation of Romanian and Bukovina Jews and
