To begin with , read profiles. If a Master is a Warrior, Scribe, Physician, perhaps it will be stated on his profile. If so, you may tailor the vessel and your serve to their chosen profession. A personal touch shows you care enough to make your serve individual to the Free you serve. This holds for Mistresses as well.
Dont be afraid to inject some humor to your serve. If you know the Free you serve to have a sense of humor, then by all means, show that you appreciate their nature. However, always keep it within the bounds of a kajira. Meaning, above all, respect is to be tendered.
Never forget why you are there. The Free you serve is your only concern. You do not stop to greet, wave, smile or otherwise acknowledge other Free or slaves. The only possible exception is your own Master or Mistress if they enter. If that be their wish. A smile of acknowledgment that they have entered is enough. Your heart pounding wildly will make the One you serve feel as if you much prefer to be elsewhere. This is not acceptable. If you make them think you see them as not worthy of your best , it reflects upon your Owner as poor training.
This slave was trained to keep her serves to five posts or under. Yes, the ones she has put down here for you have been substantially more, but the five post rule is a good one. No matter how good you are, how seductive and how descriptive, anything can wear old when overdone. A good rule of thumb is:
Post One: leave the Free and move to the servery.
Post Two: enter the servery and fetch the vessel
Post Three: get the food or drink.
Post Four: return to the Free
Post Five: offer the food or drink
In your serve, as many posts leaving the Free should be made with them. Always center the serve around the Free you are serving. Mention them often and by name when possible. This lets them know that your serve isnt a cut and paste and also helps entering slaves know who is being taken care of. It also adds that personal touch that is so very important.
Learn your style. Every serve is different and cut and paste serves or dances are not permitted. They show a lazy slave who hasnt enough desire to serve to make each one original, tailored to the One she serves and unique. You are not exactly the same as your sisters, dont try to be. Find how you serve most comfortably and do so.
Be as descriptive as possible. They cant really see you and so need your words to help them "see" you in this venue.
