| Episode 14: Truth and Consequences First Aired: 5-08-2004 Guest Starring: Islay Johnston as Hayley Summary: Conner, Kira, Ethan, and Hayley are at the underground lab examining Tommy, who is still morphed and stuck in the amber-like substance that the white ranger placed him in. Conner asks Hayley if she can get Tommy out, but she tells him that it is too risky and might harm him. This upsets the rangers and Conner tells them that they need to find out who the white ranger is and deal with him. On the island fortress, Mesogog is upset with the white ranger�s recent work of destroying his last monster and vows to find the white ranger as well. Elsa then shows him her latest gadget. A tracking system that can locate the energy given off by the white dino gem. Mesogog, upset at Zeltrax for not coming up with any plans, tells him to help Elsa with her work. Elsewhere, Trent is stumbling through the warehouse district. He leans against a container and his morpher starts glowing. It causes visions of what he has done as the white ranger to flash in his head. At Hayley�s Cyberspace, Conner, Ethan, and Kira have arrived to talk to Hayley, but she is swamped with customers. To her hopeful relief, Trent enters. Believing that he is there to work, Hayley asks him to grab a tray and help, but he has just come to let her know that he is quitting. She tries to get an explanation as to why, but he doesn�t offer any and just turns to leave. Kira stops him at the door, and he tells her that something is happening and he wants to tell someone about it. Trent prepares to tell her, but is stopped by Cassidy�s sudden arrival. Cassidy heads to the stage and using the microphone, announces that she has video evidence of who the white ranger is. This causes Trent to be nervous of course. She then states that Devin will be arriving soon with the video. Devin soon arrives, but whispers something to Cassidy. She then announces to the audience that Devin�s tape is in his camera that he loaned to his sister. She then tells him to go get the camera. Kira then turns to Trent to finish their discussion, but he is gone. Trent has gone back to the warehouse district, and involuntarily morphs into the white ranger. In the fortress, Elsa�s machine has picked up the energy. Mesogog sends them down to capture the white ranger. They tell the white ranger to join or be destroyed, he tells them that he isn�t interested and they start to fight. The white ranger quickly gains an upper hand, but the fight is cut short by the appearance of the red, blue, and yellow rangers. Elsa and Zeltrax decide that they have had enough and leave, leaving the rangers to fight it out. The white ranger gains another upper hand. This forces the yellow ranger to use her super dino mode, but gets blasted down by the white ranger�s laser arrows. She tries to fight without dino mode, but a second round of laser arrows forces Kira to demorph. The white ranger fends off the red and blue rangers and prepares to finish his work with Kira. He turns her around and finally sees her face. This causes the white ranger to stop and visions of Kira to flash through his head. Unable to finish her, he backs off. This momentary pause, allows the red and blue rangers to use their dino modes. This causes the white ranger to retreat. Conner and Ethan power down and go help Kira. In the fortress, Mesogog is angry with Elsa and Zeltrax�s latest failure. Elsa then gets the idea to grab the white ranger in his human form. Trent is sitting on a bench by a lake drawing when Kira approaches him. She tells him that she can help him with whatever is going on and he shows her the pictures that he was drawing (drawings of the white ranger). He then shows her his dino gem bracelet and she puts it together. Kira is upset at first, but he tells her that he can�t help it. She then offers to go get Ethan and Conner and Trent then realizes that they are rangers as well. She tells him to wait for her then runs off to go get Conner and Ethan, while he stays there to draw. Elsa�s machine has located Trent and Mesogog sends some Tyrannodrones to go get him. The Tyrannodrones, via an invisiportal, arrive at Trent�s location and throw a net over him. Kira has arrived at the underground lab and tells the others, including Hayley, that Trent is the White ranger. Conner and Ethan are upset and believe that Trent can not be trusted. They then run off to where Kira left Trent. They arrive at the lake to find the bench thrown over, Trent�s sketch book, and no sign of Trent. The Tyrannodrones have arrived back at the fortress and have delivered Trent to Mesogog. Mesogog appears glad that it is Anton Mercer�s son and tells Trent that the gem will make him fully evil over time. This upsets Trent and triggers his morph into the white ranger. Using laser arrows to cover his escape, the white ranger leaves. Hayley sees the white rangers arrival into the city as he begins to form his megazord and the other rangers morph to go after him. They call their own megazord and go after the white ranger�s. Hayley then releases the new ankylo dino zord. After a quick tug-of-war between the megazord over who gets the ankylo zord, the red, blue, and yellow rangers, attach it to their megazord and use its new double drill attack to force the white ranger�s retreat. At Hayley�s Cyberspace, Cassidy takes the stage again as Devin takes his camera to her. They look at the tape, but unfortunately, his sister taped over the white ranger footage with the birth of a baby. Kira is looking at one of Trent�s drawings while standing by the lake when Trent arrives. She asks him why he didn�t wait, and he tells her that he did, but it�s a long story. He tells her that he must leave and that it isn�t safe to be around him. He then turns and leaves. My Thoughts: A pretty good episode. I really like the episodes that Jackie Marchand has been writing so far. It was good to see that Trent would stop if hw were to attack Kira, I think that it shows that he truely has feelings for her. |
