| Episode 13: White Thunder Part III First Aired: 5-01-2004 Guest Starring: Islay Johnston as Hayley Summary: The white ranger is still standing atop the drago zord. It doesn�t last long as he quickly jumps off and sends the zord after the rangers� megazord. With a fury of wind and debris, which Devin and Cassidy get caught in and get split up by, the drago zord beats its wings and takes to the sky. It�s not long before the drago zord gains the upper hand. This forces Tommy to call in reinforcements, namely, the stega zord. The white ranger is pleased by this and uses his drago sword to place the stega zord under his control. With the stega at his command, the white ranger jumps into the drago zord and combines the two to create his Dino Stega Zord Megazord. This upsets and surprises the other rangers. They begin to fight and other rangers attempt to use their Dino Drill attack, only to be stopped by the Dino Stega Zord�s Stinger Intercept attack. The Stinger Intercept blast through the megazord, forcing the rangers to eject. With the rangers and their zords down, the white ranger attempts to take their other zords. Tommy is able to stop this by calling forth the stega face plate on his morpher, thereby getting back on their side. This case the stega zord to detach from the Dino Stega Zord, much to the happiness of the three other rangers. Unfortunately, Tommy informs them, the white ranger�s hold over the stega zord is so powerful they he maybe able to use it again. Upset, the white ranger takes off in the drago zord. The white ranger ends up landing in the warehouse district. His morpher begins to glow and he appears to be in pain as he begins to demorph. Devin has arrived just in time. He rounds a corner to see the white ranger beginning to demorph and grabs for his camera. He gets it turned on and starts to stand up but unfortunately he hits his head on a pipe and is knocked unconscious. Fortunately however, his camera lands in the perfect position to get the white ranger on tape. At the underground lab, Conner, Kira, and Ethan are sitting around feeling upset. Tommy tells them that sometimes you have to dig deep in order to get over an obstacle and then orders them to go have some fun. Reluctantly, the three leave. Following Tommy�s orders, Conner is enjoying a game of soccer at a park when he notices Trent sitting on a bench. He goes up to Trent, who looks sick, and asks him if he is alright. Trent, who vision is blurred, tells Conner that he is. Conner tells Trent that he doesn�t look that good and offers to call his dad. This appears to upset Trent who tells Conner no and starts walking away. Conner decides to ditch the game and goes after him. Cassidy has arrived at Hayley�s Cyberspace, still covered in the food that the children threw. Hayley asks her if she is all right and offers to get her a drink. Cassidy asks for a soy latte and Hayley leaves to get it. Devin arrives soon after and him and Cassidy start to talk. She asks Devin where he went, but his memory is still a little fuzzy from hitting the pipe and the last thing that he remembers is going down the ally. Elsewhere, Conner has tracked Trent�s trail to a secluded forest area. Not seeing Trent, Conner starts to look around, and is jumped by the white ranger. Conner quickly morphs and they begin to fight, without weapons. To ensure this, the white ranger throws his drago sword to the side and the red ranger throws his Thundermax blaster to the side. The white ranger, as usual, gains a swift upper hand in the battle. In his fortress, Mesogog is watching the battle on a screen and asks Zeltrax how they are preceding. Zeltrax informs him that Angor has been upgraded and he will occupy the other rangers. Mesogog then tells Zeltrax that he wants to talk to the white ranger. At the lab, Kira and Ethan approach Tommy, just in time to see Angor on their screen. They get ready to leave, but then receive a message from Conner that he needs help. Tommy sends Ethan to go help Tommy and takes Kira with him to go stop the monster. The three morph and take off. Tommy and Kira arrive at their destination first and Tommy calls for the Parasaur, Cephalo, and Dimetro zords to take on the monster. At the battle, the white ranger picks up Conner�s Thundermax saber and starts to use it on him. In his fortress, Mesogog notices the Ethan is using his Raptor Cycle to get to the battle, so he sends some Tyrannodrones to stop the blue ranger. At the creature battle, the auxiliary zords are holding their own pretty well. At the ranger battle, Conner, tired of losing, gets angry. Using this anger he calls forth his Super Dino Power Mode. With spikes jutting from his suit, he finally gains an upper hand against the white ranger. He powers down from the mode after sending the white ranger flying. Meanwhile, Ethan uses cycle to fend off a horde of Tyrannodrones. At the battlefield, the white ranger gets up and tells Conner that he won�t have to worry about the white ranger anymore and falls down. Conner, upset runs up to him and tries to get the white ranger awake. The white ranger then grabs the Thundermax blaster nearby and tries to blast Conner, proving that it was just a trick. The white ranger then blasts Conner and picks up his drago sword and goes to finish him off. He is stopped by the appearance of Mesogog and Zeltrax on the battlefield. Mesogog tries to get the white ranger to join his army, but the white ranger tells him and drops the Thundermax blaster and jumps into his drago zord to leave. Mesogog and Zeltrax then decide that the red ranger is more useful alive since he maybe able to lead them to the white ranger later on and leave. Ethan arrives soon after and goes to help Conner. At the creature battle, the yellow and black rangers are blasting the creature with their weapons, while the zords still take it on. The white ranger arrives soon, though and grabs the stega zord to create his Dino Stega Zord again. Mesogog sees this and sends Angor after the white ranger so that he may capture him. Angor teleports to the Dino Stega Zord location, which is near Ethan and Conner�s. Using the Dino Stega Zord Tail Attack, the White ranger quickly defeats the creature. At Hayley�s Cyberspace, Devin approaches Cassidy and tells her that he has something. He tells her that he remembers what happened in the ally and that he has the white ranger on film. He then leaves to go get his camera. At the lab, Conner asks Tommy about the Super Dino Power. Tommy tells them that they have only just begun to tap into the dino powers. Conner then offers to return to the warehouse and get the Fossil Finder device. Tommy tells them that they should go home and rest, and he�ll get the device. While they leave, Conner voices his concern to Kira and Ethan about Trent�s well-being. Tommy arrives at the warehouse to find that the Fossil Finder has been hooked up to a device. While he is examining it, Trent shows up. He tries to help Trent out of the building, but his effort is halted when the morpher turns Trent into the white ranger. Surprised, Tommy morphs to defend himself. Tommy gets a break in the fight and tries to call Hayley and inform her that Trent is the white ranger. Unfortunately, the white ranger uses the Fossil Finder device that he created to create a hard, amber- like cocoon around Tommy. My Thoughts: A pretty decent, if oddly edited, episode. I must say, I was a little bit disappointed about the White Thunder Trilogy. I mean, other than Tommy finding out, the introduction of the white ranger, drago zord, and Dino Stega Zord, nothing really happened. |
