| Episode 12: White Thunder Part II First Aired: 4-24-2004 Guest Starring: Islay Johnston as Hayley Summary: The White Ranger is at a construction site, transferring energy into a white dino egg, in order to hatch it. At Hayley�s Cyberspace, Cassidy informs Devin that she bought a disk off a kid that claims it is a video that reveals the identity of one of the rangers. When they look at it on a computer however, it is just the kid calling them suckers. Cassidy then leaves to go find the kid and get her money back, with Devin in tow. On their way out they run into Ethan and Kira, who have just arrived. They also almost mow Trent down who has arrived to go to work. Before Trent enters, he ask himself what is going on with the bracelet that the morpher left on his wrist. Inside, Hayley approaches Ethan and Kira and asks them about Trent�s whereabouts because he has never been late before. They don�t have time to answer her as she hears Trent walk up behind her. Trent tells her that he is sorry, and looks visibly sick or extremely tired. Kira and Ethan ask if he is alright, but he just tells them yeah and goes to work. After Trent and Hayley leave their area, Ethan and Kira receive a call on their bracelets. They leave to go see what is up. Meanwhile Trent is trying to bus tables, but gets so disoriented that he is just running into tables and eventually falls to the ground, almost passed out, after an image of the white ranger flashes in his head. Hayley helps him up as he apologizes for breaking the glasses. She tells him to just sit and gives some time off. Reluctantly he agrees and leaves. As he does, she asks him to call her later so that she knows that he is ok. At the underground lab, Ethan and Kira have arrived. Conner and Tommy show them footage of two dino eggs that have surfaced (one of them being the white dino egg that the white ranger was working on). Tommy send Conner and Kira to the warehouse where the white dino egg is and sends himself with Ethan to go the dock where the other dino egg is. Elsewhere, Cassidy and Devin have arrived at a playground. They find the kid from the video, but he gives them the slip, along with some of his friends, and runs off. They run after the kids, barreling past some warehouses and Trent in the process. Once the kids, Cassidy and Devin round the corner, Trent falls to the ground holding his head and changes (ala Jekyll and Hyde) into the White Ranger against his will. Cassidy and Devin finally manage to corner the kid and his friends and she demands her money back. The kid tells her that he already spent the money, but if she leaves him alone, he can go get a real tape of the white ranger. Unbelieving, she agrees to meet the kid at the same spot at 6 to get the tape. Conner and Kira have arrived at the warehouse, but Conner is having trouble reading the energy finding machine. Kira takes it and finds the direction that they should go. They go that direction and find that their journey to retrieve the egg has an obstacle named white ranger. They find the White ranger is there, feeding energy into the egg. Conner comes up with the plan to morph, defeat the White Ranger and take the egg, to which Kira agrees. They round the corner and yell at the White Ranger, he tells them that he is busy and fires laser arrows at them. They duck out of the way and get up to morph. They morph and go after him, but the White ranger quickly gains the upper hand. On the island fortress, Elsa and Zeltrax stand before Mesogog. Mesogog tells them that he feels the person who stole his gem is nearby. He tells them that the person calls themself the white ranger. Zeltrax tells him that he will bring the white ranger to him, but Mesogog tells him that he is useless and it would take an army of Zeltraxs to do so. On their view screen, they see the White Ranger beating up on the Red and Yellow Rangers. Elsa, tells Mesogog that if they destroy the White Ranger, the power will belong to the rangers. Mesogog then has her send down a monster to divert the rangers attention, so that they won�t destroy the White Ranger, as they want the power for themselves. After creating the monster Angor, they send it down to the city, in giant form. Hayley sees this at the lab, and contacts Conner and Kira. Reluctantly, they leave their battle with the White Ranger to go handle the monster. Back at the fortress, Zeltrax has taken offense to Mesogog�s words and decides to go get the White Ranger anyways so that he can prove himself worthy. At the dock, Tommy and Ethan arrive to find that the egg has already hatched and released the Parasaur Zord. Just when they think that they are going to have trouble with the zord, Hayley contacts them and tells them that the zord is theirs and Tommy gains the Parasaur face plate on his morpher. Conner and Kira run up to them and tell them about the White Ranger wanting to hatch the other egg. Tommy tells them that they need to deal with the monster and him and Ethan morph. Tommy tells them that the zords are on the way and runs off. The three quickly form the megazord. Tommy leaves them to defeat the monster and goes after the White Ranger. The White Ranger is still feeding energy into the egg and states that it is almost ready. Tommy arrives at the warehouse and as usual, his efforts are halted by Zeltrax. They fight, with Tommy gaining the upper hand, even using his Brachio Staff�s new energy orb attack. Back at the monster battle, the megazord is not so lucky in its fight with Angor. At the warehouse, Tommy is still winning against Zeltrax. At the monster battle, the rangers combine the Parasaur with their megazord and using its Final Cut attack, they defeat the monster. Back at the warehouse, Zeltrax has decided that he has gotten enough punishment from Tommy and retreats via an invisportal. Tommy begins running to the White Ranger�s location, but the White Ranger is able to hatch the egg before he can get there. Tommy arrives just in time to see the Drago zord begin to grow and force the warehouse to begin to collapse. Elsewhere, Cassidy and Devin are awaiting the arrival of the kid with the DVD. The kid arrives and reveal that is was a trap and his friends come out of hiding. They pop up and throw food and fire water guns at Cassidy and Devin. Back at the warehouse, Tommy has made it to the outside of the building in time to see the Drago Zord erupt from the structure, while the other three rangers look on in the megazord. The White Ranger, then jumps onto the Drago Zord�s head and prepares to have it attack the megazord. To be continued... My Thoughts: It was an alright episode. I just expecting more from it than justing introducing the Parasaur Zord and the hatching of the Drago Zord. I also could have done without the Cassidy and Devin story line. It added nothing to the story really and while this can be a good thing in stand-alone episodes, this is part of a three-part saga. |
