Lots of little changes this month. So many that I wasn't able to keep up with them and write them all down as they happened. I hope that I can remember them all!
Tyler is now rolling over without any problems. In fact, that is his mode of transportation right now! ha! I had him on the bed one day and was sitting in a chair beside the bed while I was watching him. He saw where I was and started rolling towards me. I laughed and said "you aren't supposed to be able to do that yet!" He laughed!
We're on stage 2 foods now. He loves to eat! He opens his mouth whenever he sees a spoon. He can also recognize his bottle now, and there are times that we have to literally hide it from him if we've not made it yet. He recognizes it and wants it immediately!
Tyler is now holding his bottle....whenever HE feels like it. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't....but he does know how. Breakfast consists of rice cereal with fruit in it. Occasionally I give him oatmeal with fruit, but not very often, since it's not as easy on his stomach. At lunch, he usually has two 4 oz. jars, one vegetable, and one fruit. I gave him plums the other day and he smacked his lips so loud. I guess he likes them! For breakfast this morning (6/11/04) he ate 8oz. of cereal with apples in it. WOW, he must've been hungry. Normally he'll eat about 4oz. and then have about 4oz. in the bottle, but not today....he doubled up on everything!
No teeth yet. He's drool city though, so they're coming!
He enjoys his baths. He doesn't even mind having his hair washed.
He's still not sleeping through the night, but his usual routine is to wake up around 2:30 a.m. or 4 a.m. After that, he'll sleep until around 7:30. I won't complain, but it sure would be nice to get a full night of sleep!
I'm hoping that he'll start sitting up soon on his own. It's hard to drag the stroller out everytime we go shopping. Once he sits up, at least we'll be able to put him in the shopping cart.
He's definitely getting a personality! He laughs at certain faces and action. He's ticklish, and he certainly has that "red head temper". haha! I think that's all a myth, but he does have the "I want it NOW" attitude. Don't all babies, though? haha!
I promise that I'll get better with taking more pictures and keeping the milestones updated more often. It was so busy for a while, maybe it'll start slowing down a little!
