A lot of people had their doubts that this trip was ever going to be a success for one reason
or another. But since I'm making this web page called "Road Trip" I think it's obvious you were quite wrong!
Almost everybody questioned the ability of Duravan (and consequently my mechanical ability) to make it all
the way across the country. And I just wanted to let the following people know that I didn't forget.
Butch...always a skeptic.
Todie...I think you knew that it'd make it but didn't want to let on!
Mom...knew that it had to make it or she'd never hear the end of it!
Paul...well what can I say, you did it in a 1976 dump truck!
Peter Vail...kept a close eye on the progress but wasn't quite sure it'd make it all the way.
Most people also thought that Geoff and Mitch would end up killing each other 2 months into the
the trip and I just wanted to let you know that we're still getting along quite well. We divert
our criticism and frustration towards innocent bystanders.
