Puno & lake Titicaca
well, Puno is a city on lake Tititcaca.
this Tititcaca lake is at a hight of 3860m (!!)
which is one of the highest lakes in the world.
Tititcaca lake is a very big lake,
and it is half on Peru and half on Bolivia.
the nice thing about Titicaca lake is that it is always has sun,
and no clouds, because it is serounded by mountains.
and sun is very important,
cause at this altitude of 3800m it could be quit cold ...
near Puno in the middle of the lake, there are the
"float island" which are made by the Uros culture, to hide from the world.
now it becomes a touristic place ...
