Inca Trail & Machu Pichu

we waked up early (5:00am) to catch the train that goes to the direction of Machu Pichu. The train went up from Cusco to the mountain around , than pass by a river called Uroobamba, and it was about 3 hours when the train stoped, at the midle of "no where" , and we went down ... from there we join to the "Inca Trail" which is an old trail that connected Cusco to Machu Pchu. on the way of the Inca Trail we so some other ruins, that most of the time used as a place of rest for the Inca that were on the way. after climbing for 2.5 hours we arived to an old "Inka City" called, "weyna wayna" (which means, forever young). from there we went mostly down for 1 hour, bypassing a mountain, untill we riched a place called "sun gate". from there we saw the "Machu Pichu" from above for the 1st time, and it was impressing ! the place called "sun gate" cause once a year at 21 of December which is the peak of the summer here, the sun shines through this gate, and light the Machu Pichu. from the Sun Gate we went down (30 min) to the Machu Pichu. we arived there at about 17:30 and after a short look we took the Bus to a small village called "Aqua Cliente" to take hot shower at the Hotel. next morning we waked up early and spent almost all day at the Machu Pichu ....
