Cusco and Inca Ruins
after the very nice trip to "Colca Canyon"
we went back to Arequipa,
to catch our flight to Cusco.
actually, Arequipa to Cusco is not so far by air (30 min),
but by land it is 21 hours train ! so we took a flight ...
we arrived here in Cusco at thursday,
and we enjoy this buetifull city,
while we are aclimating to the hieght (3400m).
there is a lot of Inca ruins around Cusco that we saw and going to see.
but the High Light will be the Macho Pichu:
we are going to take a trek on the Inca Trail to the "lost city" Macho
Pichu on wednsday, and after spending the night at near by town,
we will go back to Cusco.
any how,
we continue to have fun and lot of advantures here in Cusco,
there are a lot of Inca Ruins around Cusco,
and everyday we see about 2-3 from them ,
(Julie like very much Ruins and History .. and I like the mountains
view around ...).
for example you can see a picture of an Inca ruin not far away from Cusco , named by the funny name "saxa waman".
we are going to do a trek on the "Inca Trail" to "Machu Pichu"
on
wednsday ...
