A Not So Wonderful Life
This is the story of a friend. It's not happy and in some ways it's not sad. It just is. And whatever it is it's taken me over a year to write. In part the delay comes from real reason, my illness, my schooling, and the drudgery of daily living. But part comes from my apprehension about committing this all to a site. And of course it comes from my inability to deal with this on my terms.
The story I'm going to tell isn't just the story of my friend, Mike... It's my story too, my life in Tallahassee and my troubles with death. And it's not one I tell readily but here it is, submitted for your approval so to speak.
