CUT AND PASTE

IMAGE

Cut, copy, and paste, is a very easy term and function. You will have two basic kinds.

IMAGE

HARD CUT: Hold down the "Shift" key and use your arrow keys to highlite the text.

Next just hold down the "Cmd" key and hit the "X" key, this will cut the text or code from the page.

Now go to where you want to place the text or codes.

Hold down the "Cmd" key and hit the "V" key. This will drop the text or codes.

This is sometimes called a "Hard Cut". To me I call it the easy cut.

Sometimes you will find a page of text or codes that are not within an email or a box, ie: on a webpage.

This is very easy to do.

"Cmd" F, will pull up your find box, then type the first or last word or code that is in the string you are trying to cut, copy, and paster.

Top or bottom, whatever trips your trigger!

Now, highlite as shown above.

Okay, you're following along so far, right?

Hold down the "Cmd" key and hit the "C" key.

Take the text, codes, whatever, to where you want them

Now, hold down the "Cmd" key and hit the "V" key. This drops the items in question.

NOTE-The items cut will not be removed from the page, they will "stay" there, but you have them saved within your system, for a short time since this is not a computer.
