I have been photographing for 22 years, started at age 15.
I started with a Canon AV-1 with a Canon 52 mm f 1.2. Then I bought a zoom lens, Soligor 70 - 210 mm f 4,5. After a while I bought a Sigma 2x teleconverter.This was my equipment for my first 5 years. Then I found out I needed a tripod, and bought a Slik 35 D. That tripod have been by my side since. After 5 years winding my Canon with my thumb, I got hold of a motorwinder, and the winder have been attached to the camera since.
Trough all these years most of the image have been landscape and flowers. all of these pictures were taken with negative film, so I have a lot of paper images. But soon I discover how wonderful pictures taken with dias are, and decided to change, and use dias in stead. So I bought a dias projector and a screen.
But I soon discovered the need for a new camera, a camera with some more facilities than my old AV-1. Since I had been happy with my old camera, I wanted another camera from Canon, and I choosed a EOS 50 with a canon zoom lens 80 - 200 mm f 2.8. And that camera have become my main camera since.
In 2000 I wanted to try out the digital world, and a Canon digital IXUS AiAF ended up in my camerabag. I'm very satisfied with it, it have given me what I was looking for. A lot of my images now is taken with my Digital camera, mostly because I get to see the result right a way, and if I'm not satisfied, I try again.
