Research Notes (Husband)

After Joseph and Claire Married, they settled in Cobequit before they moved to Ile St-Jean (Pointe Prime) with their 11 children.

When Louisbourg fell in 1758, some of the Robichauds including Joseph and Claire with their family were deported to St-Servan, France (near St-Malo). This is where Joseph died on March 12th, 1758.

Some of their married sons (Pierre, Joseph, Michel and Charles) returned to Gaspe in 1774. Then, they settled in Aldouane and are the founding families of the Robichauds in the area in 1791.
