Research Notes (Husband)
Joseph Driscoll started as a court clerk and went to Edmonton in 1906. There he opened his own business: Joe Driscoll Sporting Goods Company. He became a prominent man in the community.
He was the president of the Edmonton Ekimos football Club and took their team to their first Grey Cup vs Toronto Argonauts in 1921. The Eskimos lost 21-0 but that was the start of many Grey Cup wins for the team.
