My name is Bob Nolan. I am a graduate of the Creighton University School of Medicine. I interned at Ancker Hospital in St. Paul Minnesota and was a Fellow in Pediatrics at the Mayo Clinic. I served two years of active duty at the U.S. Naval Hospital Chelsea, Massachusetts as a reservist. After the Navy I engaged in a partnership practice of Pediatrics in Jamestown, North Dakota. I left practice after three years and joined the medical department of The Pitman Moore Division of The Dow Chemical Company in Indianapolis Indiana. For the next 30 years I worked for Dow (1964-1970 and 1973-1980), Marion Laboratories (1971-1973), and Adria Laboratories (1980-1996)while it was Adria-Warren Teed, then Adria Laboratories, then Pharmacia, and finally Pharmacia&Upjohn. I held various positions including Director of Clinical Pharmacology, Director of Clinical Research, Director of Clinical Development, Assistant Medical Director, Director of (Clinical) Immunology. All the while I was employed by Adria I lived in Upper Arlington and worked in Dublin, Ohio. When the Pharmacia Dublin facilities were closed in July 1996 I elected to go on Pre-Retirement Leave of Absence rather than moving to Kalamazoo. While on this leave of absence I first worked as an consultant for a biotechnology company in Dublin, Ohio and then as a Project Physician for a contract research organization (CRO) in Nashville, Tennessee. I worked out of my home office in Upper Arlington as a telecommuter on a clinical project for a client in San Diego. In July 1998 I ended my pre-retirement leave of absence and my part time employment with the CRO in December 1998. I keep active by pursing my hobbies of homebrewing and winemaking, bicycling, maintaining one website and instructing senior citizens on the use of computers as a volunteer at the Gerlach Center of Riverside Methodist Hospital.
My wife Dorothy is a graduate of St.Catherine's School of Nursing, Omaha, Nebraska and the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is active in Group S of the Columbus Chapter of the OSU Mother's Club

Dorothy and I have seven children, six daughters and
one son. We have twelve grandchildren, ten granddaughters
and two grandsons.

Ann is a graduate of Indiana University and is a CPA. She has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University. She is the comptroller for a software company
Bob is a graduate of The Ohio State University in
Chemical Engineering and has a Master's Degree in Biochemical Engineering from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a member of the National Honor Society and a recipient of a National Merit Scholarship. After completing his studies at M.I.T. he worked for Chartwell Technology, a small pharmaceutical development company, until the technology was sold and the company was dissolved. He returned to OSU as a graduate student in Computer Sciences but is unemployed at present. He is an avid bicyclist. He is also a fan of MST3K
Patty is a graduate of Purdue University. She completed a Paralegal Program at St. Mary's College of California and is now employed as such by a company in Walnut Creek. Michelle graduated from Emerson College, Boston and now is an intern working for a group of theaters in New York City. Katie will be in her second year at Santa Barbara Community College. Ali is entering the 5th grade. p>

Mary and Marty are graduates of Purdue University. Mary also has a Master's Degree from Butler University in Indianapolis. Mary has taught Kindergarten for 21 years. Marty is a chemical engineer. He is a site manager for Henkel Chemical Management in Indiana.

Susie and Eric are graduates of Purdue University.Eric is a chemical engineer. Eric is employed by a French international telecommunications company. The Heekes moved from North Carolina to northern France in January 1997. They moved back to the United States in the Summer of 1999

Kathy and Jim are both graduates of The Ohio State University and both have Master's Degrees from that institution. Jim works for the State of Ohio in the Department of Aging. He is also a landscape painter and has had two exhibitions of his work. Kathy is a Dietitian but left hospital practice to become a full time mom and housewife. They have two daughters Jane age 3yrs. and Kelly age 7 weeks

Nancy is a graduate of Indiana University and a CPA (certified public accountant). Mitch prepares cost estimates for the repair of houses and other structures which have sustained damage from various causes. Mitch served from 1982 to 1986 in the Army. He was stationed along the DMZ in Korea.. He attained the rank of Sergeant.
Nancy and Mitch have two children, a daughter Gracie age 3 yrs. and a son Jackson Joseph less than one week.
