DISK RECYCLING: THE IDEA

Every year, thousands upon thousands of floppy disks are dumped into landfills or incinerated. Almost all of these disks can be used! So we came up with a solution. Our company accepts disks from anyone (you will get a discount on your next purchase when you send us disks) and format, relabel, and repackage them in minimal packing (to be enviromentally safe). These quality, almost new disks are then sold at cheaper prices than regular disks. While other companies claim to recycle disks we are the only company with "Truley recycled disks." Others like Greendisk, don't really recycle used disks, but only disks which came in software packges which did not sell.

How to Participate

Anyone interested doing the Enviroment a favor (and even those who aren't) and want to get low cost floppy disks, should serously consider participating in Evirodisk's floppy disk collection program. Also, if you have excess disks in your home or office please consider sending them in. When and if you decide to participate just gather your disks (or collect them from other people) fill out this form, print it, and send it in along with your disks. Soon, you should recive a credit off your next purchase via e-mail.

SPECIAL DEAL

What happens to those disks which do not meet our quality standards? These disks include disks that are not 1.44MB, disks that have bad sectors, or other various problems. These disks are still useable, but would not want to sell them with the regular disks. Two or Three times a year (depending on how many we have) we sell these disks to the public. If you are looking for cheap disks that still work and our formatted, these are for you. Although, unlike our regular disks, they are not guaranteed for replacement.
