LOCATION:

                           Geographically, ROMBLON is located at the center of the Phillipine Archipelago. Bounded by Marindoque in the north, Panay in the south, Mindoro in the west and Masbate in the east. Romblon is 45 minutes from Manila, Philippine Air Line (PAL) and Asian Spirit has a three times a a week flight from Manila every tuesday, thursday and saturday. It is also accessible by the boat from Manila ( 11 hours or less via MBRS Liner at Pier 8 ) and from Batangas City ( 10 hours or less via VIVA Shipping Lines ).

                           ROMBLON, the island of the finest marbles gently rises like a tranquil emerald haven. A province teeming with natural wonders, diverse activities, affectionate folks, nostalginic scenes and romantic aura. In the Philippines the name ROMBLON has long been synonmous with the marbles, crisp cool breezes, rolling verdant hills, caves, beautiful rivers and waterfalls, native handicrafts, natural and historical landmarks and the BINIRAY FESTIVAL.

                           The people of Romblon speak hiligaynon ( ilonggo ) and tagalog. Non-metered tricycle are numerous in poblacion, Jeepneys provide service to barangays. Marble figurines and construction slubs is available in Romblon Shopping Center. Native products like baskets, hats, nito and tambo are also available.

                           Romblon has some beautiful, natural and historical sceneries like Mt. Agmalamig, Marble quarries, Cutting plants, St. Joseph Cathedral, Ruins of Fort San Andres, Ruins of Fort Santiago, Youth Calvary hills/Youth Jubilee Cross, Romblon Bay, Palje Bible School, White beaches and dive sites in Tiamban, Bon-bon, Talipasak, San Pedro, Agnaga, Naguso and Logbon and a chance to walk across the Island of Bang-og.
