Before we even consider a breeding, there must be a purpose for it. There is so much time and consideration put into whom we will breed to. I look at several things, conformation, pedigree, health testing, temperments, what the male is producing and how he may compliment the female we are breeding. It is a long process to find what we hope to be the perfect match to improve upon the breed..
Our puppies are raised inside our home with the utmost of love. I believe in imprinting and follow a daily schedule as outlined in a article on the DPCA web site. I feel that this early neurological stimulation coupled with proper handling and socialization produces puppies that have an outstanding start to life. When we have puppies it is a full time job as we all are very active in their raising. Everyone is handled daily. On top of being used to all different types of surfaces and sounds they have mini agility equiptment and toys that are constantly changing to boost their confidence and challenge their senses. I take great pride in finding quality homes where these puppies will continue to be loved, socialized and trained. That they may exemplify the highest standard of the Doberman breed: intelligent, protective, loving, loyal family dogs! All of our puppies are sold on a spay neuter contract, unless sold to approved show homes. Before you even consider purchasing a Doberman I recommend doing a lot of research.They are not the dog for everyone.
