My infatuation with Dobermans began in the early 70's when my Aunt came to stay with us and brought with her a young doberman male named Dylan. It was love at first sight for me. Never before had I seen such a beautiful dog, sleek and powerful, elegant with rippling muscle. He was trained so well it amazed me at what this dog knew and could do at such a young age. From that moment on I knew that this was the dog for me. We were very blessed to have been able to spend so much time with Dylan and later to have him live with us, this only deepended my desire for this amazing breed. Words alone can not convey the mark that Dylan made on my life and the memories we shared together.
Our family now lives in the beautiful lake city of Coeur d'Alene Idaho where we share our lives with 3 dobermans Elly, Boo, her daughter Paris and last but not least a rescue named Bandit. Our dogs are very much a part of our family and go everywhere we do. They love to go for drives and explore the logging roads with us, as well as the numerous classes and shows I take them to. I've always loved to train and have had so much fun training them in such areas as conformation, obedience and agility. Recently I purchased a carting harness and am looking forward to carting with them. My youngest daughter Stephanie is now involved in 4H and AKC junior showmanship. It is such a joy to watch her practice and enjoy the showing, taking pride in her dogs.
