Ruben M. Segal  was born in San Gregorio E.R. Argentine.

He has loved painting since early childhood and continues the passion today.

Ruben immigrated to Israel in the early 60's.

In his youth he took part in crucial events that strengthen Israel defense, and joined a kibbutz community in

search of the equality as a way of  living., and until now Ruben and his wife, Alicia are living in Beit Keshet,

near the city Nazareth in Lower Galilee.

As the year gone by he finished his formal education i electronics and computers science and engage in this

profession mostly. But the arts and especially the art of painting always drew his heart and what began silently

developed gradually into a great demand for constant creation.

He went to Jordan Valley College  where completed his studies in Art, and later has exhibited his work in joined

and solo expositions and several galleries of the Galilee region, Haifa, Tel Aviv and others  important cities  in

Israel.

Ruben specializes in landscapes but combine extended range of themes , epoch and stiles looking after self

expression in  oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel media with gypsum and wood application.
