What's new        Sept 22nd 2000

Lets see.... It's Sept 22nd  2000.  The weather outside is a perfect partly sunny, 68 degrees. And, as I look across the street, I can see that my neighbor has already put up Halloween decorations, even though the event is a full five weeks away. Now I'll have to look at that until Thanksgiving.
She always wants to be the first to put up decorations so she can get, what she thinks, are the "ooh's and ahhs from the rest of us.  I think it stems from a childhood insecurity problem but I'm not sure.. She always try's to outdo me, but often loses. I'd tell you who it is, but I've permanently forgotten the little tarts name.
Rain is forecast for tonight, and tomorrow, so we are off to the Durham county fair to eat some good food, tour the barns, and visit the Rabbit exhibit where Sharon has some of her rabbits.. She was also on TV talking about her bunnies, and if I can get it to work, I'll put a video clip somewhere on my page.

As you can see on the main home page, I have added some wedding photos of the siblings that were ball and chained...(sorry)...married this year. You will find them starting on photo page eleven.  You can click on each image for a  larger picture, and  may download any one of them.

I wanted to give the web page a new look, but I just couldn't think of any styles that I liked, so, with just a few modifications, I left it mostly the same. The neat animation of wedding pictures on the main page, and the snowy one on one other, was done using a program from "Anfy Team". You can find a link to them on my links page.

Our son Michael was married this July, and is now living in Wallingford.  He and his wife Krista are pretty busy around their home doing the things he didn't do at home.  He still works for Automotive Edge in Cheshire, and still works as part of the JTR auto racing team. Early this year, he had to have an operation, but is doing fine now.

Sharon is still going to school, but now has to go longer than expected due to a very serious auto crash in February. She was basically house bound and out of school for three months. Between both kids, our nerves were pretty frayed.

Finally, I added a "Special" page which shows what some of my neighbors did to my house to commemorate my 60th birthday this July, and some "get even" pictures of the culprits.  I can't wait till they turn 50 or 60 so I can show them what I'm really capable of.  Seriously, however, It was an honor to be trashed by them.  It was a perfect surprise that was very well done by the best neighbors we could ask for..

Love you all
