2008 Rocky Mountain Replica Roundup |
Well the 2008 car show is history and what a day it was.
Even with the lack of support from the other (unmentioned)
club, we ended up with 28 entries and cars in attendance
Not a bad showing, considering this was the 2nd year for the event. The weather was less threatening this year, and most people were more worried about being stuck in the sun and heat (which didnt seem to materialize as predicted) rather than getting rained on. It was even commented that our weather was a perfect combination of Carsliles rain and Knotts heat. Here are some of the Porsche Speedsters that were on display: |

We had quite a variety of cars again with the largest group being the dune buggies numbering 6. There were 5 entered by Renegade Composites including a couple of new, never before seen designs and one buggy entered by Paulette Bourg. Mike Stevens also has his rare Manx Towd on display. |
