Vasile and his family September 2001 (continued)

All the help we have been able to give to Vasile has been a great benefit to him. With our next visit we hope to get him the rest of the pigs he needs to start his pig farm and we also hope to be in a position to provide him with the materials to build the proper facilities for his farm. This will be a good start in life for the two eldest sons.

As I mentioned they lost their horse and where sleeping in the fields to protect their crops from thieves, well there was freak weather when I was in Romania and it was bitterly cold with nonstop rain for eight days. This is nothing like a winter here would be and I was heartbroken to think of those without heat, food or warm clothes. I can't imagine how they can survive.

Vasile is a wonderful father and does all he can to look after his family. Florin at present is very tired and thin but seems a bit better than he was a few months ago. At least he will be well looked after by his loving Father and family.
