• About us and how we work (continued)

After each visit the photographs Ann has taken are put into folders with stories of the work achieved with the families, all supporters living in the area are shown the folders and those outside the area receive a photocopy of the folders.

Each month Ann and Philly receive receipts from Flore and Gusti signed by the poor for the amount they have received. During each visit Ann goes visits each family and spends some time with them.

It is hoped that each family or elderly person(s) taken on board by the charity will have all the basic needs in their homes in two years and then further families can be taken on.

In March 2000 a supporter Paula O'Hare from Bessbrook went to Timiosara with Ann and intends to return again in March 2002. The charity welcomes independent persons to make the trip to see the work being done. It is stressed anyone interested in making a trip must as we do pay for their own fares and expenses.
