MEMORY

Do you remember the time I saw the brilliant sliver of neck behind the curtain of your hair?
Of course not, for that was but a brief moment in my eyes, forever engrained.

Should I remember the moments you do?  All of them in their entirity and to the same detail?
Of course not, for you are you and all I may do is hope to meet your memories on coinciding paths.

And when such paths should coincide, shall I as you place the same meaning to such events?
Of course not, for if this were so we should require such memories not.

In such intersections, is it wise to believe that one path is correct and the opposite also?
Of course not, for who be the judge of such matters of personal importance.

So memory, which lacks such precision and which demands such ambiguity shall be disregaurded?
Of course not, for what shall your and mine life be with out such diversions.

And memories, then, shall be considered diversions of the present and nothing more?
Of course not, for they alone control all that is the present and shall be ever seated on that throne.

Then we shall certainly be slaves to our past, for ever and eternity and not own the strength to surpass?
Of course not you shall still be able to choose the point of vantage.

So this point of vantage, does it not have adjacent throne to these memories which we hold?
Of course not, for a circle controls the process, vantage interprets memories which builds your vantage's tower.
