Lincoln, Nebraska.........ah, my homeland.
Lincoln may be some small midwest town which very few people even recognize as the capital of an equally unknown state, but it is also a the place that I call home much of the time.  I understand its criticisms, it is too small, there is nothing to do, it is years behind any larger city, and the rest of all that.  There is some truth to most of them.  There are a lot of good points to the city too, though...I just can't think of any right now.

O street is the main night life for those residents over 21.  On O street, from centenial mall to 13th street, there resides over 15 bars or night clubs.  Why so many bars you ask?  Well, I am sure that it has something to do with the university just blocks away, but I like to think that there is another reason.  I like to think that many years ago, when Lincoln was just a small town called Lancaster, that a few visonary men came together to make a bold plan, that four score and seven years ago, our forefathers brought forth on this great plain, an new street, concieved in drunkeness and dedicated to libation and the thought that no man should have to walk more than ten feet to the next bar.

Bars within a 4 block radius of 14th and O

I put this picture in because the blue sky is such a contrast to the normal gray color of the heavens here in Hong Kong.  This is a picture of the collesium on the Universities campus.
