Christmas 2008

Christmas 2007 Christmas 2006 Christmas 2005 Christmas 2004 Christmas 2003 Thanksgiving 2003

We went to Disneyland to visit Santa Claus in early December.
We almost missed seeing him, though!
When we got there, Santa was no longer in his house and was done for the night.
Luckily, we later found him checking on his reindeer and we got a quick picture.

This Thanksgiving, for the first time in years, I made a turkey.  We let the wishbone dry out and the boys got to make wishes....

Hmmmm......

Pull!

Justin wins this one!

Yes!!!!

Bummer!

Justin and Jameson helped me put up the tree this year.

We got a train set at Disneyland - Jamie loved it!

On Christmas eve, the kids left milk and cookies for Santa.
Justin left him a note that read, "To: Santa,  From: Justin - I really hope I was good?  I want Bolt the Game.  I bet it is really cool.  Bye Santa.  Ho Ho Ho."

(Note the question mark after "I hope I was good")

They read The Night Before Christmas...

...and we let them open the gifts from Aunt Pat.

They humored me by posing in front of the tree.  Not sure how much longer Jordan will be willing to do this....

After a long battle trying to get the kids to go to sleep (too excited!), Santa finally came...

Santa ate the cookies and left a note for the boys!

Christmas morning....

And here's the boys with the big gifts they wanted most of all....

Jordan finally got the electric guitar he's been begging us for!

Justin wanted an iDog more than anything, but needed an iPod to go with it!

Jameson got the Elmo Live.  He's scared to death of it.

After the fun of Christmas day, we packed our bags and headed to Colorado the next morning.

We had a very early morning on the 26th - our shuttle to the airport picked us up at 5am.
We were at Grandma and Grandpa's by 12:30 that afternoon.
Overall, our travel day was not too bad.

Poor Jordan was so tired - he slept like this most of the flight

Christmas in Colorado

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's wouldn't be complete without Elf Bowling!

Here's some other pics from Colorado:
