THE GHOST
It is frightening;..............................
For this night a child .............
Has seen the ghost.................
Walking towards him silently
As years,
Down septic halls....................
And past rooms and walls........
Voices of despair.......................
And suddenly the strange fear...,
Of coughing..................................
White...........................................
Red............................................
And nothing except....................
prayers........................................
