Mission Statement

FBLA-PBL’s mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

What is Phi Beta Lambda?

Phi Beta Lambda is the collegiate division of the Future Business Leaders of America. Don’t let the Greek name deceive you--PBL is not a social fraternity or sorority. (Phi Beta Lambda is actually Greek for Future Business Leaders.) Social events are certainly a part of PBL activities, but the focus is on business and leadership development.

What do we do?

In addition to having on campus meetings, where we have workshops or bring in speakers, we attend state and national conferences held throughout Pennsylvania and the Continental United States. Attending the three state conferences reveals the key elements of being a FBLA-PBL member. Members compete in one or two events at the Spring Competition and one event at the State Leadership Conference. Guest speakers, workshops, general sessions, and motivational speakers are also a part of attending all conferences.
