The sounds you will hear are of the exhaust at idle, then revs of 2000rpm, 2800rpm, and 2500rpm with a stomp to 4000rpm. These WAV files are recorded on a Compaq Laptop computer with built-in microphone. It is positioned 24 inches behind the tailpipes, leveled and centered. Due to the large size of the CD-quality (44.1khz, 16-bit) audio recording, the file has been edited and compressed down to 400kb for faster loading. This was done by converting stereo to mono, 44.1khz to 22.1khz, and 16-bit to 8-bit. |
