| Our next stop was Bora Bora, which is probably the most famous of the Society Islands. The lagoon in Bora Bora is spectacular, and both the airport and our hotel were situated on small motus (islets) that encircle the main island of Bora Bora. The airport was actuall built by U.S. soldiers in World War II... rough place to be stationed, huh? |
