Andy Reid
Andrew Reid has several years of experience in Histology and Electron Microscopy. He joined the department in February 1990 as Senior Electron Microscopist and has proved to be an important member of the department. He has taught and assisted MSc, BSc students and post-doctoral research assistances the various electron microscopy, cytochemistry and histochemistry techniques.  He is in charge of the Electron Microscopy suite, and is also the Laboratory Manager. His current research interests are in Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease, through studying the pathogenesis using the electron microscope to provide vital ultrastructural information about protein aggregation.
