I am changing this document's background color to "fuchsia" by citing that
hue in the <body
bgcolor="fuchsia"> field. I can specify some colors by name,
letting the user's system approximate it as closely as possible. No number sign
is required in the "bgcolor" field, only the color's name.
The sixteen colors listed below are understood by all browsers. Rather than
cite a Hexadecimal or RGB value you simply call a colors name in either the
background or text
- AQUA
- BLACK
- BLUE
- FUCHSA (see background)
- GREEN
- GRAY
- LIME
- MAROON
- NAVY
- OLIVE
- PURPLE
- RED
- SILVER
- TEAL
- WHITE
- YELLOW
