The PRE-GAME menu
The PRE-GAME menu has the following options:- Weather Table
- Gate
- Gate (semi-final)
- Gate (final)
- Work out Handicap
Weather Table
Click on this, and a roll on the Weather Table will be made for you. The result of the roll will be shown in the
window, on the left-hand side, in green characters, for easy reference.
Gate
, Gate (semi-final) and Gate (final)
This option works out the gate for you, automatically using the fan factors from both teams' roster. The result is
shown in the window, on the right-hand side, in yellow characters, for easy reference.
If you are playing a semi-final or a final, don't click on the Gate button in the toolbar, but
select the proper menu options. The tool will automatically add the modifications to the rolls to calculate
the crowd.
Work out Handicap
You don't need to look up that handicap table anymore! Click on this button and the program will tell you if a team
will get bonus cards and/or bonus MVP's.
The Handicap-tables that can be used are programmed in the BBTABLES.INI file. You can select the table you wish to use using the 'HandicapTable=H1' parameter in the PBEMBB.INI file.
