The Conference Console is a Voice Conferencing Program that can support
up to 8 simultaneous connections. The Program can be customized to support
more than 8 if desired (see ORDERING below). It is designed for use with high
speed internet or intranet connections that can support high quality audio.
Dial-Up support is provided with lower quality audio and connectivity.
This program is designed primarily for Peer-to-Peer use. No server is
required, so you are not dependent on a service that could disappear, charge
a fee, subpoenaed for information or be a compromised. AES-256 Encryption is
available to secure Voice communication from interception. The Conference
Console can also be setup as a server, providing a public or semi-public
voice chat room.

DEMO VERSION

A freely distributable version of the Conference Console designed to allow
users to try out the features of the Conference Console and to determine
the usability of the Program on their Computers prior to purchasing a copy.

Demo versions can be identified by the word "DEMO" in the Conference
Console's Title Bar between the Port Number and the Copyright Notice.

The Demo version is freely distributable as long as all files (listed above)
are distributed together.

The Demo Version of the Conference Console has all of the features of the
Full Version except as follows:

Calls are limited to approximately one minute.
The Name/ID has been preset to DEMO
The Edit Text Boxes are preset to call my Conference Router.
Dial-Up versions have Compression Enabled by Default.
Encrypted Calls will accept and display user defined Encryption Keys but
will only use a single key internally that cannot be changed.

OLD VERSIONS

Versions below 2.0 do not support Encryption and cannot receive or make
encrypted calls.

Versions before 1.2 are not compatable with some Compression Modes,
Remote Display, or Polling. Users of earlier copies are encouraged to
obtain the latest version.

CALLING AUTHOR

You can call me by Clicking the "CALL" Button. Please arrange an appointment
by E-Mail as I do not keep the Program active. Please Click "COMP" before
calling if using a Dial-Up connection. Make sure your Microphone is working.

CUSTOMIZATIONS

You can request that the default Name/ID of the Program be set to anything
you wish. If more than 12 letters long, some may not be displayed properly.
Specify the Name you want for each copy you are purchasing when you order.
The defaults for the IP, Port and Password Edit Text Boxes can also be
preset to make Calls to a single destination easier. The defaults will be
reloaded after every Call or Command that completes successfully.

The maximum number of Calls can be increased or decreased.
The number of Status lines can be increased or decreased.
These two setting affect the size of the Conference Console Window.
The default Address Book Filename can be changed.

A restricted version is available where users of one copy can only call the
user of the other. This can be used where copies are handed out to allow
people to call into a central service. Contact author (see above) for
licensing terms.

Additional customizations are available, contact author (see above).

SAMPLE ADDRESS BOOK

A sample Address Book is included ("Address.BK") which should be placed in
the same Directory as the Conference Console Program. This Address Book
contains entries for Self-Test, Calling the author, and prerecorded
demonstration voice messages.
