14. Love for Music. Yes, Filipinos have the knack for music, especially with singing. Everywhere you look you will see karaoke bars. Even in market places you will find karaoke machines. For only 5 pesos you will be able to sing. A few more 5 peso coins and you can have a concert. Aside from karaoke, you can also find a group people outside their houses strumming a guitar, singing. My siblings and I do that all the time. ^-^;

15. Jeepneys and Tricycles. Our public transports all over the country. The big, fast and colorful jeepneys are considered King of the Road and the equally colorful tricycles that only travel short distances. Jeepney and Tricycle (inset)

16. Flash Floods. An unexpected downpour and you are sure to go home swimming. There are certain parts of Manila that are suceptible to flood that it would be wise for the people living in those areas to build a boat (and I'm not kidding). Some floods are meters high that people are often stuck on their roofs.
17. Philippine Christmas. My favorite!! Christmas celebration in the Philippines is longer than the rest of the world. When the "ber" months (from September to December) come in, the spirit of Christmas is gradually expressed. By October, you will start hearing Christmas carols on the radio and the people start decorating their homes with parols (Christmas lanterns).

December 16 is the "official" start of the celebration until the Day of the Epiphany (Jan.6). People celebrate evening mass called Misa de Gallo from the 16th till Christmas day. The mouth watering smell of Bibingka and Puto Bumbong sold in the streets fill the air. On Christmas eve, families gather and by midnight, share Noche Buena which traditionally consists of Queso de Bola, ham and a lot more. On Christmas day, kids from the neighborhood go from house to house to get their pamasko (Christmas gifts). And of course, despite the merry-making, the reason for Christmas is never forgotten.

11. Eating with your hands. Set aside those silverwares, but definitely not your table manners. Here, you can eat with your hands. If you ask me that'll be the best meal you'll ever have!
12. "Never say die" spirit. Quitting is not in our vocabulary and we take the meaning of "Try and try until you succeed" to a higher level and make "Try and try until you die!" It's a joke, actually, but you know what I mean.
13. Conservative and Romantic People. Yes, Filipinos are conservative. Though times have changed most of us still uphold the Filipino values. Romantic, yes. Men and women alike. Men still fall for women who are shy and reserved. They will do almost anything to make their women happy. Women still prefer to be courted the old fashioned way. In some provinces women are still serenaded. As for Filipinas, sweetness is an understatement.
